Periwink Press is for independent-minded authors who write romance that leans literary in all varied sub-genres.
Each author on each jewel of a book will be encouraged to negotiate their rate of return, our investment in publicity and marketing, and all subrights for clarity and equity in publishing.
Periwink Press is a little different, a little revolutionary, offering a little escape to our readers and also providing a little escape for our writers from the current publishing modes–a collaborative, enlivening, creatives-first approach to storytelling.

IT STARTED WITH A CONCEPT
Start small. Stay lean. Collaborate with independent creatives for editing, design, publicity, and marketing. Curate a team for each book.
Have an easily recognizable cover scheme: simple, geometric, bi-colored, and adaptable to each title, so that readers would know a Periwink Press book at a glance.
PERIWINK PRESS LLC WAS FOUNDED
Periwink Press was founded in 2024 with the sole purpose of publishing romance with a twist—a genre-bending twist.
DISTRIBUTION
Periwink Press is forging relationships with indie and particularly romance-only bookstores across the US and Canada to provide uniquely romance-forward paperback distribution as well as ebook and audible distribution on varied platforms.
OUR BOOKS
Periwink’s founder Lee Taylor will release two titles in 2026: A Satchel of Richards in January and Puck in October. Wonderland will follow in early 2027.
Submissions from other authors will be accepted beginning next year.
